Financial donations are crucial
for our Christian witness
and ongoing work with marginalised groups.

There are two simple ways of making a financial donation:
PayPal or BACS Transfer

PayPal

After clicking on ‘Donate with PayPal‘, you will have two options:

 

 

A: Use the strong blue ‘Donate’ button if you simply want to make a donation to our General Fund (i.e. it will be shared evenly between our houses).

 

B: If you wish to send your donation to a PARTICULAR HOUSE  (e.g. making a donation for a retreat) please follow these two simple steps:

1. Click on ‘Donate with Card‘

2. Underneath the figure of the sum you have entered click on the words ‘Write a note‘ and insert the name of the house you intend it to be for.

 

You can also use method B if you want to make a general donation to the sisters only or the brothers onlyby writing ‘sisters only‘ or ‘brothers only‘ in the notes section.

 

Method B requires you to provide your card details. Paypal uses advanced encryption software and is a widely trusted means of transferring funds safely and securely. If you wish to make regular or repeated donations you will only need to enter your details once.

BACS Transfer

Making a BACS Transfer to us requires two simple steps.

 

Step 1: Contact your bank and inform them you wish to make a payment. You will need to give them our bank details:

Account name (please write carefully and exactly, using the spaces and hyphen as shown): Soc of St Francis – Provincial Fund

Account number: 65426247

Sort Code: 08-02-28

 

IMPORTANT! Please note that our account name is:

If the details are not initially recognised, please do not be unduly concerned. The donation should get through to us!

 

Step two: Please complete the form below and send it to us by clicking ‘submit‘.

If you are a UK Taxpayer we would be extremely grateful if you could also fill out the accompanying Gift Aid form.

BACS Donation and Gift Aid Declaration

GIFT AID DECLARATION (UK TAXPAYERS ONLY)

Boost your donation by 25p of Gift Aid for every £1 you donate. Gift Aid is reclaimed by the charity from the tax you pay for the current tax year. Your address is needed to identify you as a current UK taxpayer.
I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax in the current tax year than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations it is my responsibility to pay any difference.
Please notify the Society of Saint Francis if you: want to cancel this declaration / change your name or home address / no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains. If you pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self-Assessment tax return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust your tax code.
