In her Third Letter to Agnes of Prague, Clare writes:

“Place your mind before the mirror of eternity!
Place your soul in the brilliance of glory!
Place your heart in the figure of the divine substance!
And transform your entire being into the image
of the Godhead Itself through contemplation."

Today Clare invites us into that place of gazing and into the transforming love of God because God desires to take on flesh anew in our lives. She calls us to be transformed in the mirror of the Crucified Christ, to radiate and manifest this image in our own lives.
