Trinity Sunday

Celebrated on the Sunday after Pentecost, Trinity Sunday is a celebration of a reality and a doctrine rather than an event, honouring the eternal God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, one in three and three in one.

After todays feast day the liturgical colour for this season is green, representing a season for growing in our faith.

'Holy, holy, holy Lord God Almighty,
who is, and who was and who is to come:
And let us praise and glorify him forever.'
Let us bless the Father and the Son with the Holy Spirit:
Let us praise and glorify Him forever.

('The Praises to be said at all Hours', by Saint Francis)
