This is a season of joyful reflection on the
resurrection of Jesus and Easter hymns and readings are used
throughout the season. The Easter or Paschal Candle remains in
a prominent place in the church, a sign of the risen Christ
present in his Church.
The readings of this season focus on
the appearances of the risen Jesus to the disciples.
